Macki Hamblin is the owner and trainer for Connected Equine which is located in Newport Beach, California. A life-long equestrian, Macki has competed in hunters, jumpers, eventing, and dressage. Dressage has been her main focus for over 13 years with a heavy focus in competing the last 6 years.
She has a Bachelors of Science from UC Davis in Animal Science with an equine emphasis and experience as a vet tech for a sports medicine equine practice.
With such a diverse background, Macki has an appreciation for all equine disciplines. She applies the dressage training scale to both her english and western clients.
She firmly believes that patience, respect, and understanding lay the groundwork for a successful equine partnership. Her appreciation for each horse's personality allows her to create a customized training program for each horse and rider.
